1. Who we are

This website is run by Vectors Resort, in Mbale Town, Vihiga County, Kenya. You can reach us on +254 708 096997 or at vectors.resort@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Only what you choose to send us: the details in a booking request (name, phone, email, dates, number of guests, any message), the details in a contact enquiry, and your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter.

To stop spam we use an invisible check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on our forms. It may process technical information such as your IP address.

3. How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, confirm or decline a booking, run your stay and, if you subscribed, send the newsletter. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for anything unrelated.

4. Who sees it

Our staff, and the services that run the website for us: our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and our email provider. They handle it only to provide those services.

5. Cookies and similar storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may remember small preferences in your browser, such as your chosen language or whether the booking bar is open.

If you pick another language, the page is translated by Google Translate, which sets its own cookie and receives the page text. Visitors who stay in English never contact Google.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries and booking requests are kept as long as needed to deal with them and for our normal business records. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to be removed from the newsletter, by contacting us. We handle personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date below shows when it last changed.
